Ithaca League of Women Rollers is bringing its fast-paced flat track roller derby back for season seven, hosting games at Cass Park Rink May through October, with the season opener taking place on May 10.
“We’re really excited for the 2014 season!†said ILWR super fan Liz Hoyt. “We know our SufferJets and BlueStockings have been working on new tactics all winter and we can’t wait to see them put their awesome teamwork into action.”
The home season dates for 2014 are: May 10, June 7, August 2, September 13, and October 4. The website will be updated with game start times.
The season opener on May 10 will start off with a double-header between the Ithaca SufferJets and Queen City Roller Girls’ Furies and between the Ithaca BlueStockings and Connecticut RollerGirls’ Yankee Brutals.
