The Ithaca League of Women Rollers are back at it in a full league home turf showdown! On Saturday May 30th members of the SufferJets and Bluestockings shed their team colors and take up new alliances in a unique intra-league match at Cass Park Rink in Ithaca.
Skaters will combine to create two new teams for this special event in a battle showcasing all of the league’s talents under one roof. The skating will be fast, the competition will be fierce, and the fun will be plenty! A portion of the proceeds help fund 2015 travel expenses to away bouts in Philadelphia, Rhode Island and Virginia.
The event will also feature members of the Ithaca League of Junior Rollers, ages 8-17, during a halftime scrimmage. Junior members build fitness, make new friends, and enjoy a fun, confidence-building team experience in a supervised, competitive league structure. So join right in and cheer on our junior rollers!
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Pre-sale tickets are available online for $8 or at the door for $10. Children 12 and under are free, ages 13-17 are just $5.
