Junior Roller Derby (Ages 8-18)
The Ithaca League of Junior Rollers (ILJR) is a JRDA-affliated team. We welcome skaters ages 8-18.
No skating skills necessary to join! We will help skaters learn the basics of skating and work them through Level 1, 2 and 3 assessments as they progress through different levels of contact and gameplay.
Loaner gear is available on a first come first serve basis. We can also help guide you through purchasing your own gear!
We accept new skaters anytime throughout the season until we reach capacity. If we are at capacity, we have a waitlist.

Become a Non-Skating Official
Looking to get involved in roller derby between our new skater assemblies or just prefer to not be on skates? Becoming a non-skating official (NSO) is a great way to start. You’ll learn the roles that make it possible for us to hold bouts, as well as get a sense of the rules and strategy of the game.
